Our Story

Katathani is a family brand, created from a passion for Asia, its culture, aesthetics, and the art of true relaxation. Our fascination with this world began back in 2008, during our first trip to Thailand. That was when we completely fell in love with its atmosphere, traditions, cuisine, and unique approach to rest and well-being, with massage and beauty rituals playing such an important role. Over time, this passion grew to include Indonesia and other parts of Asia, which became another source of inspiration for us and strengthened our belief that we wanted to create something truly special.

Even the name Katathani is not accidental. It was inspired by Kata Beach, a beach in Thailand that we had the opportunity to visit and that still brings back memories of peace, beauty, and the extraordinary atmosphere of that place. From the very beginning, these were exactly the emotions and feelings we wanted to bring into our brand, creating a space where people could step away from the noise of everyday life, even if only for a little while.

From the start, we knew we did not want to create just another place offering massages. Our goal was to build a complete and exceptional experience, one that allows people to pause for a moment, unwind, forget their worries, and simply feel cared for. We wanted to combine luxury, comfort, tranquillity, and attention to detail with genuine respect for the traditions that have inspired us for so many years.

The idea of Katathani developed over a long period of time. Several years before opening our first location, we were already thinking about creating such a place, but we were not yet ready to do it exactly the way we had envisioned. Because placing a few massage beds, turning on relaxing music, and opening a spa is not difficult. For us, what mattered most from the very beginning was creating something truly extraordinary, a place refined in every detail, offering not only a treatment, but a complete experience.

Only when we were certain that everything had been planned exactly as we wanted did we begin working on our first salon. In 2022, we opened our first location on Pod Blankami Street in Bydgoszcz. From the very beginning, we poured our whole hearts into this brand and paid great attention even to the smallest details, so that we could offer our guests the highest level of comfort, a unique atmosphere, and genuine relaxation. Today, Katathani continues to grow, while remaining true to the values on which it was founded. We still create places where it is not only the massage itself that matters, but also the atmosphere, the quality, the aesthetics, and the feeling that for a moment you can leave everyday life behind and simply immerse yourself in peace.
